Real Numbers. Real Answers.

Fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, and mood shifts often have measurable causes. In-clinic lab work gives you and your provider concrete data to work from — so nothing gets dismissed as "just stress."

Results are reviewed by your provider with full context, not just flagged if they're out of range.

Answers Your Body Has Been Waiting to Give You

Strategic panels ordered by your provider — not just routine bloodwork

Many symptoms — fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, mood changes, low libido — have measurable biochemical causes. Lab testing takes the guesswork out of your health by giving you and your provider concrete numbers to work from. At Alvin-Manvel Family Clinic, we order labs strategically based on your symptoms, history, and goals — not just what's covered by a standard physical.

Results are reviewed by your provider in the context of your full health picture. We don't just tell you whether numbers are in range — we explain what they mean for you, and what to do about them. When appropriate, we'll use your results to guide treatment decisions for hormone therapy, weight loss, chronic disease management, or supplementation.

Most routine labs can be drawn during your visit. Some specialized panels may be sent out to an external lab, with results typically available within 2–5 business days.

Lab Panels We Commonly Order

  • Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP)
  • Complete blood count (CBC)
  • Hormone panel (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone)
  • Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, T4)
  • Lipid panel (cholesterol & triglycerides)
  • Hemoglobin A1c (diabetes screening)
  • Vitamin D, B12, and iron levels
  • Cortisol and adrenal function
  • STI / STD testing
  • Urinalysis and urine culture
  • Prostate-specific antigen (PSA)
  • Inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR)

Fasting Requirements

Some lab tests — including fasting glucose, lipid panels, and metabolic panels — require fasting for 8–12 hours before your blood draw. When you schedule your appointment, we'll let you know which tests require fasting and any preparation needed. Water and essential medications are generally fine during a fasting window.

Know your numbers. Take control of your health.
